Although it is difficult to tell from pictures, Katelyn is a full head taller than most of the other children her age. Consequently, she grows out of clothes really fast. I looked through her closet and discovered she should only be wearing two of the many dresses she owns. So, it was time to start sewing dresses again. My mother-in-law purchased this fabric with the intention of making a toddler outfit. With the passing of a few years, she handed me the unused fabric (we have the only granddaughter). I got the notion a corduroy dress would be perfect for the fall/winter season.
